Confirmation Statement is a document that limited companies and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) are required to file with Companies House every year. The Confirmation Statement replaces the previous Annual Return.
The Confirmation Statement provides Companies House with important information about the company or LLP, including:
- Details of the company's directors, shareholders, and people with significant control (PSCs).
- Information about the company's share capital, including the number and type of shares issued.
- Details of any changes to the company's registered office address, SIC code (Standard Industrial Classification), or statement of capital since the last confirmation statement was filed.
- Details of any mortgages or charges that the company has created or satisfied since the last confirmation statement was filed.
- Any other relevant information that Companies House may require.
